Dong Van Rock Plateau

It will be a pity if you go from Hanoi to Ha Giang without visiting Dong Van Rock Plateau. This rocky area has an altitude of about 1500 meters and an area of 2356.8 km2. It owns a series of geological heritage and imprints on the history of the development of the earth’s crust. Here you can also learn more about the unique culture of many ethnic groups. The overwhelming beauty of Dong Van Rock Plateau is also adorned with unusual houses and colorful clothes of the local people.

The palace was built in the early 20th century and belonged to Vuong Chinh Duc, also known as the Cat King. Being one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in the area, this man paid the equivalent of more than seven million dollars to build this majestic palace. French and Chinese architecture, together with construction methods of the H’Mong people were applied in the process of creating this 3000m2 building. The current condition of the palace is unbelievably good, while its mysterious beauty keeps satisfying tourists.

Hoang Su Phi

On your trip from Hanoi to Ha Giang, please don’t miss your chance to visit Hoang Su Phi. This is a district in the West of Ha Giang. The landscape here is incredible with a vast forest and glamorous terraced fields. Some notable areas are Ban Phung and Ho Thau. Well, if you have made an effort to Hoang Su Phi, why don’t you venture to Tay Con Linh Peak and Chieu Lau Thi Peak.
