2. Consular Section Hours (Visa & Legalization)
The Consular Section, responsible for Vietnam Visas, passport renewals, and document legalization, follows a specific schedule for receiving and returning documents:
Document Submission: 09:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday)
Document Collection: 02:00 PM – 03:30 PM (Sunday to Thursday)
Important Note: We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the session ends to ensure your application is processed within the same day.
3. Public Holidays & Closures in 2026
The Embassy will be closed during official public holidays of both Vietnam and Egypt. Key closure periods for 2026 include:
Vietnam National Holidays: Lunar New Year (February), Hung Kings’ Festival (April), Reunification Day & Labor Day (April 30 – May 1), and National Day (September 2).
Egypt National Holidays: Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, Revolution Day (July 23), and Armed Forces Day (October 6).
